Parking on our estate is limited. Upon entering, parking is primarily situated to the left, with additional spaces available at the upper and lower garages. The majority of parking is located on either side of Estate Road. Interestingly, during the estate's initial planning, parking was designated on the left side of Estate Road against the wall rather than along the curb. However, times have changed.Â
To effectively manage our limited parking resources and uphold estate standards, the following Parking Regulations have been established since 2020 and earlier:
Vehicles parked on our estate must be taxed and have a valid MOT certificate.
If your vehicle will fit, you should park in your garage.
Parking is prohibited on or over the yellow lines or in front of garages, except for the residents of Nr. 30, who may park in front of their garage to save an estate parking space, provided it does not obstruct neighbouring garages and the vehicle remains out of sight from balconies.
Please park as close to the curb and wall as possible and fill gaps between vehicles without boxing them in.
Residents can park two vehicles on the estate and one in their garage.
Residents must inform the management company of the vehicles parked on the estate, including those in garages.
Commercial vehicles (registered as N1 with the DVLA), camper vans, caravans, and motorcycles are not permitted to park on the estate at any time, although they may be parked in garages. An exception is made for commercial vehicles, which may park on the estate between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Visitors should park off the estate after 6:00 p.m. to ensure space for residents. While flexibility is exercised regarding this rule, residents are encouraged to consider their neighbors' parking needs, especially during large gatherings.
Residents and visitors must park off the estate if no spaces are available.
Residents are responsible for ensuring compliance from their visitors.
Thank you for your cooperation; your neighbours appreciate it, too.
